Our Mission:
To establish and maintain multi-use trails in Central Arkansas that are open for mountain biking and to link all trail user groups for this purpose.
What we do:
The Central Arkansas Trail Alliance (CATA) seeks to provide safe access to wild places through multi-use trails. Our goal is to open up access to remote areas, construct trails and maintain them sustainably throughout the central part of Arkansas.
We invite you to join with us and to use your own talents to help make this dream come true. We’ll need everyone, especially those willing to actually build trail, raise funds, contribute resources, organize events, sponsor work days and meetings, negotiate with land owners and managers, etc. Join our Facebook Page to learn about upcoming meetings, workdays and fun recreational activities.
We follow International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) trail building guidelines and work closely with state and federal land managers, other outdoor recreational clubs in Arkansas and IMBA staff to sustainably build and maintain only quality trails. We know it will take partnerships with many in the community to make this happen.
